I have two presentations that you can choose from:

Wiener Wolf (Disney Hyperion 2012). This picture book was selected for the Texas 2×2 list of 2012. The presentation includes a PowerPoint presentation, a reading of Wiener Wolf (with secret alternate ending), creating a sequel with the kids that I illustrate in front of them, Q and A, and signing any purchased copies of the book. I talk about the history of wiener dogs, my education and background, and creating a book both in writing and painting.

The Rockabilly Goats Gruff (Holiday House 2014). This is my most recent picture book. This presentation includes a brief history of rockabilly, a discussion of onomatopoeia , a reader’s theater of RGG, a discussion of fractured fairytales, creating story starters with the kids that I illustrate in front of them, Q and A, and signing any purchased copies of the book. I talk about my education and background, and the process of creating a book both in writing and painting.

I charge $225 per 50 minute presentation, with a maximum of four a day. That price is negotiable.

The equipment I need is a projector, screen, and a document camera (Elmo) if one is available.
